Okay, you're right about the Dating Plan. It's been a long time since I've seen those eps, and I was just going with the overall impression I have that Dana was constructed as semi-hysterical. Maybe it's just that Sorkin hasn't written an emerging relationship that isn't fucked up in some really strange way, which he doesn't necessarily do with the established ones (Isaac/Esther, Jed/Abbey, at least in the beginning).
