New and Improved! Thanksgiving Poll Take 2

Because Goldy can't keep her radio buttons sorted from her ticky boxes... if you've already completed the poll version 1.0, you don't have to do this one, but there's a bonus question if you decide to try again. Thanks for playing!

My grandfather died on Thanksgiving Day, 1986. For several years afterward, none of the family could stand to eat traditional Thanksgiving foods. So lasagna and chocolate cheesecake were our traditional foods. I get nostalgic for that sometimes, and might make it some year, if Leora will stand for it.

Hi Goldy, and thanks for interesting things to consider. Could you do me a favor tho and put some of it behind cuts? I watch my friends list for additions to comments in prior posts and it's a long scroll past even one set of results nonetheless two of them. Thanks!

So what are you and yours doing for Thanksgiving this year? Any plans?

We already acquired our free-range, vegetarian, organic turkey so the boy would be able to partake. It looks like just the 4 of us this year with a basic menu again, except this year, B will actually be able to eat and enjoy the meal!
Turkey, oyster dressing, mashed potatoes, gravy, some kind of green beans (can't do mushrooms due to allergy issues) cranberry salad, yummy snacks for pre-dinner, pumpkin pie, cherry pie and ice cream. If we feel productive, we might add in a soup or salad, but it looks low key.
