DW and LJ Friending/Defriending Announcement
I've got this shiny new account on DreamWidth, and I'm planning to use it exclusively for my fannish posting (and for my LJ archive, JIC). This is so I don't have to filter/lock my fannish posts anymore. So I'm going to be going through my LJ flist and thinning it out, because I want to read my fannish friends on my DW flist, and my RL friends on LJ. If you don't have a DW account, and you're fannish, I'll be subscribing to your feed at DW, and filtering you off my LJ default view. THIS is because, a lot of you with accounts in both places are cross-posting (Yay!), but I keep getting confused about where to make my replies. I'm only medium-tech after all.
If you're a RL and fannish friend, I guess I'll have to filter you off of my LJ default view, but not defriend, cause I still want you to be able to access my RL ramblings if you want.
Hmm, here's a bug: all the boxes for tagging etc, the post are on top of the text box. The text is now wending it's way through a maze. Hmmm. at least it was that way until I started filling in the boxes.

Definitely anything to do with fanfic/fanart/vids, and recs thereof. WisCon seems integral to my fannishness :)
I may end up cross-posting book/movie/music reviews - I'm thinking of making a poll about this. I can imagine all media-related stuff getting posted here, while cooking and work and life stays mainly on LJ. That way, when my cousins wander by to read my LJ (which they occasionally do) I'll have less things to worry about having to explain if they're not locked. I'll still lock any poly-related stuff on LJ (less and less of that anyway), but probably won't bother over here, if it even comes up.
Do you have suggestions? Requests?

No idea. I'm still sorting that out, myself, and my interests don't sort themselves quite that neatly. In some ways, life would become so much easier if I wrote fanfic! (Hmm, that's an unlikely sort of sentence if I ever heard one.)
