If They Only Knew

The other day at work, I was "escorting" a crew in a secured room, and with nothing better to do at the time, I was reading fanfic on my blackberry.  It's a little perk I allow myself when I have to be away from my desk.

So, the foreman comes up to me and says, "Goldy, are you surfing the 'net for porn?! C'mon admit it."

Well, first I had to replay what he said because I'd been reading instead of listening, and then I glanced down at my screen, and while it had perfectly SFW text on it, I knew that eventually the story would turn out NSFW.  So instead of confirming or denying anything, I said, "What if I said 'yes?'" (I think I even managed an arched brow)

And then HE turned red and said, "well then, I'd be really embarrassed I asked."

We both laughed, and I returned to my story.
