New Icons!!

I've got the best DH ever!  He fixed up these icons for me!  Of course, I can't figure out how to stick them in the post, so you'll see "Goldy's Ray" on a base by celti_knot on this post, and "One True Ray" is still my default, on a base by spiffy_themes.  Because I'm only allowed 3 icons right now, and RayK is just... GUH.  Even though he smokes.  Right.  I'm okay.  Really.  <snicker> 

In other news, we appear to be slightly closer to having our loan approved, which means that our car will soon get it's new engine!  On Saturday night, the alternator died just as we were leaving the Great Dane (and that night is a whole post unto itself), and we had to get a friend to come take us home.  Sunday, Our Hero arrived with a new radiator for his beater car, which we had to install before going to retrieve the dead car.  Monday, we called Don the Muffler Man, and they said bring it in.  Don had replaced this alternator (and the serpentine belt) last October, so we were pretty unhappy with it being dead already.  They allowed that the alternator must have been defective and replaced it for free.  So, it was just aggravation for this one, but no money. Yay!  On the way back from dropping it off though, I noticed the beater car was a bit hot, so we pulled over at a gas station, and it turned out to be 2 qts low on oil. <sigh>  It's always something, right?  Today, we took the beater to buy groceries.  When we got ready to leave, the car wouldn't start at first.  We think it was vapor lock from the heat today, but for a minute there, I was gonna cry.  So we were very happy to find the loan papers had been delivered while we were out.
