Birthday Wishes Again
I think this is the second year in a row I'm late with birthday wishes for leatherminesand Dad and my cousin, Wayne, all with the 9th being their day. Happy Belated Birthday, guys!
I have an excuse with Dad - I never know when to call him any more - he works a strange shift doing security, and the few times this year I've connected with him, I've awoken him. And Wayne, well, we've never worked at keeping in touch, but he came out to the area for work a few years ago, and we had him over for dinner. For the past year, he's been keeping in touch with B, they played a fantasy golf game even, and that's kind of cool you know? That my side of the family likes my DH so much, they have their own relationships with him, while his side of the family is still fairly removed from both of us. But no excuse for missing out on greetings toleathermines, especially with her here in town and my whole flist being lit up on her day with happy messages. I am a bad friend.
So now I'm early forbusman1994and my sister. Sis has just moved back to NV to reside in their old house that hasn't sold yet, and try to keep from going officially bankrupt. I feel bad for her. I've been in a situation nearly like hers in the past, and yes, we survived, but I wish she didn't have to do it. At least I don't have an alcoholic, diabetic husband who won't monitor his condition or make any changes to improve his situation. My DH is doing everything humanly possible to effect a positive outcome for himself and our family, and that's a really rare blessing.
