You're plenty smart enough, you're just not such a rollicking dweeb as some of us. Smart people do less navel-gazing and more living. Does crossing the Chasm of Choronzon sound like something you want to do? Personally I'm not into Chasms, especially ones you have to do calisthenics to prep for.
