Fic Meme Day 04 - hit the ground running

Rats! I had this ready to go this morning, but it was one of those days where it doesn't matter if you're the lion or the wildebeest.

Day 04. A fic that you wish more people would read
- A Deeper Season, Vorkosigan 'verse by eolianbeck and sahiya. One of them also goes by lightgetsin although sadly I don't know which. Anyway, I first stumbled across this fic ages ago on a fic list that tied into Lois McMaster Bujold's fan club/site, who is the creator of this amazing series. I've loved Miles Vorkosigan and everything about his universe for a long time, but had never thought of the slash potential or even the genfic potential. When I first read this, I was amazed by how true to canon it is. The characters, the dialog, the twisty plot, with the added bonus of being a wonderfully long read. Plus there are sequels!
And, there is some other Vorkosigan fic out there, some with very humorous pairings. I think I actually like By/Ivan better than Miles/Gregor, but I totally get the Miles/Gregor pairing.
