Fanfic Meme - Day 22

Day 22. A fic you won't read late at night

Well, I don't generally go for anything horror-like so I'll have to say that I won't start anything long late at night because I am really bad about stopping reading once I've started. I tend to read everything straight through unless it just isn't grabbing me.

So, a really good long read is: resonant's Transfigurations which is an awesome Harry Potter (post-war but written before the canon was complete). It's a "where are they all now?" kind of story, and the long build up to the Harry/Draco doesn't seem too long because the non-slash part of the plot is fascinating and completely suited to the universe. If Res had written this as gen, someone else would surely have remixed it to slash.
