Squee! and Squash!

How much do I love the Sci-Fi Channel?

Last night, I stumbled over the Stargate:Atlantis catch-up marathon.  They showed all this season's eps back-to-back, which meant I got to see "Duet" which I missed the night of the Low Country Boil.  Yay!  I kept watching until "Trinity" when I realized that I was falling asleep and decided to be horizontal.  After all, we just saw that one last Friday.  Although, I wouldn't have minded seeing the stuff at the end again, with John and Rodney at the elevator/transporter.  Rodney so loves John...

Today, finally, barley52 and I are going to close on the home-equity line of credit, which means we'll be able to fix the car!  I can't wait for 3:00.

It's a little too early to be thinking about dinner, I guess, but I'm pretty sure it's going to involve yellow squash.  Every time I cook some, DH has to go out to the garden and pick a few more.  There are currently 6 very nice sized squash in the harvest basket, and normally, we can only eat 2 or 3 in a meal.  If he brings in 2 or 3, I won't have made any progress.  Plus there are still the patty pans in the fridge. ~sigh~ Does anyone have something they'd like to trade for squash?  If not, I'll probably be stuffing some of these tonight.

Last night's eggplant parmesan was yummy, but we only ate about half of it, so I know what I'm having for lunch the rest of the week
