Wiscon!

I registered for Wiscon today.  I didn't go last year because it is usually the DH's birthday weekend, and we thought we would go camping.  Health issues completely screwed with our plans, so not only did I miss out on Wiscon, but I didn't have any alternate plans to speak of.

So I figured I would go ahead and register, and if work or health issues come up, I can donate my membership to someone else.  Otherwise, I'll at least know I'll have a great plan for the weekend.  And it's so late in the month this year that I won't feel guilty about the birthday thing.

In addition to registering, I also indicated I'm willing to be on a panel!  So, I haven't felt at all qualified to volunteer in this way, but the topic of the panel is "Free Energy" and will be discussing alternative and renewable energy sources.  I actually have real-world experience in this topic! So maybe I'll get picked for this panel.  If not, I'll still attend, since I think I actually have something to contribute.

The rest of the time, I hope the different sessions I'm interested in so far actually pan out.  If not, I guess I'll be spending a lot of time schmoozing and providing beers and such to folks in the bar. Look for me there :D
