At Bookclub tonight, a couple people were very encouraging, so I thought I'd go ahead and post this here even though it's already been posted at sga_flashfic .

I think this is the first story I've ever posted to LiveJournal. It's definitely my first to sga_flashfic which is a challenge community for Stargate: Atlantis writers. This was written for the folklore challenge.
